SCOTTRINCK
Welcome to the iPhone collection of Scott Rinckenberger Photography created with Instagram. To view more of my work visit www.scottrinck.com

I dig life. It's been made very sweet by my wife, nature, outdoor sports, photography, and living creatively.

My photographic method is immersive and minimal. I incorporate photography into adventures. I carry a very small kit and try to cover as much ground as possible on foot, skis and bikes. It is through this kinetic mode that I find my images, or they find me.

Do you think this tree thinks of itself as spooky, or big and beautiful? I think both.

Holy smokes, 30k followers…Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I can’t believe how much support, love and inspiration I’ve found in my couple of years sharing with the @instagram community. To say thanks to all of the people who have been following my work, I’d like to give away a signed 8x10 print from my gallery. Here’s how to win:

- make a comment on this post or add a comment/caption to one of your own posts telling everyone why you love playing outside

- add the hashtag #iloveplayingoutside and tag @scottrinck.

On Friday I’ll pick my favorite comment and arrange to send a print of your choosing from my IG gallery. Looking forward to your thoughts, and again, THANKS! (at Blown Away!)

3 things I dig: mountain biking at @StevensPass, stopping at Eagle Falls for a post ride dip, and the @stoneandcloth #travelingbenson backpack, the purchase of which funds education scholarships in the developing world. #carryaneducation (at Eagle Falls, WA)

I’ve got some friends visiting #Yellowstone right now, which is bringing back memories from my trip there last fall. This is a view down into the mighty Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. (at Yellowstone National Park)

From the start line of today’s 100 mile @obliteride ride to end cancer. Honored to be here shooting. The riders are already over halfway done. Give them a cheer if you see them today! #obliteride #ride #endcancer #seattle

@obliteride riders relax before the start of today’s ride to end cancer. I’ll be here shooting all day, say hi if you’re at the event! #obliteride #endcancer #ride #seattle (at Warren G. Magnuson Park)

Rain on snow. Bad for skiing, great for photography. From the newly added Snowscapes project on www.scottrinck.com. (at Mount Baker, WA)

Gotta get up to get down. A fact known by @Coolio and @liz_daley, the newest member of the @eddiebauer team. She joins the likes of @kcdeane @drewtabke @andymahre and @lynseydyer who combine to make one of the most badass forces to roam the high country. #solid (at Mount Baker, WA)

The already stellar @eddiebauer team just got even better with the announcement of its newest member: @liz_daley! Splitboard ruler, alpine climber and professional guide, Liz splits time between the Pacific Northwest and Chamonix. I was fortunate to get the call to head up to mount Baker last week to shoot the first photos of Liz climbing and riding in her new #firstascent gear. (at Mount Baker, WA)

"Our vision is to become a brand that advocates, challenges, and invests in education on a global scale." I’m honored to have the opportunity to collaborate with @stoneandcloth on the #travelingbenson project supporting scholarships in the developing world. #carryaneducation (at Deception Falls)

Life lessons brought to you by rock climbing: sometimes you look at the path ahead and see only barriers and defeat, but when you keep advancing toward your goal, you find that the way onward was hiding in plain sight, only to be discovered by those brave enough to look for it. - Here is Matt Henry discovering the path yesterday on pitch 5 of the Lexington Tower. (at Washington Pass)

Sometimes getting to the climb is as much of an adventure as the climb itself. We were thrilled to find a snow tunnel leading to the base of Lexington Tower yesterday. #alpineplayground #washingtonpass (at Washington Pass)

I don’t often have vehicle envy, but when I do it’s usually because of a #mercedes #sprinter set up for camping like this beauty on Washington Pass today. (at Washington Pass)
